4 Week Old Puppies

The Nadia Nitro puppies are 4 weeks old. They had a big week. They ate real food (blended dog food and water) for the first time, had visitors, nibbled on some feathers, and went outside. Wow! Now they are sleeping very well. We have the double whelping box set up now in the kitchen so they can get used to all the noises of a home. Nadia is very happy to be finishing up her feeding responsibilities. She is ready to have them fully weaned already. Thanks to all the visitors, it helps the puppies greatly to get socialized. 64 photos this time so be prepared. Also a 3 and 4 week old video.

2 Week Old Puppies

The puppies are two weeks old and doing great. They are growing fast. They eyes all opened this week, I would say around the 12 day mark they opened up. A couple of them are unsteadily walking which you can see in the video. Enjoy the cuteness. As always click the photo to see the slide show and the bottom image will play a video.

Nadia Had Her Puppies

Nadia had her puppies on Friday April 9th starting at 5:30pm. They were all born healthy and pretty much uneventfully. She had 4 boys and 2 girls. I have posted lots of pictures, and there is a video of the delivery as well. The pups will be ready for visitors the at the age of 4 weeks. The first image is a link to the whelping video.

Lobster Dinner

We went to a restaurant in Oak Park called Poor Phil’s. It is normally delicious with a great beer selection and some really good specials. There current special is a Maine lobster for $9.99. Not only was it cheap, it was delicious as well. I hope this one lasts for awhile. We went with Michelle and Michael to celebrate a successful tie between Nadia and Nitro. Hannah Eating Some Edamame

Hannah has had edamame on a couple occasions in the past, but tonight she figured out how to get the little beans out of their wrapper on her own. Unfortunately, by the time we thought about getting some video of it, she was already pretty full. So most of the video is her talking about all the errands she has to do.
