We went to a restaurant in Oak Park called Poor Phil’s. It is normally delicious with a great beer selection and some really good specials. There current special is a Maine lobster for $9.99. Not only was it cheap, it was delicious as well. I hope this one lasts for awhile. We went with Michelle and Michael to celebrate a successful tie between Nadia and Nitro. Enjoy the fun video and for you locals, check it out.

Some photos of the few of us who got together over Thanksgiving, click the photo to see the rest of the pictures. The Steilacoom 1999 grads represented were Robbie Sortore, Steve Rybolt, Isaiah Tchobanoff, Andi (Lopez) Vann, James Choe, and myself (Aaron Pace). And I would say we all looked pretty good considering we are much closer to 30 now than 20. Several spouses and significant others were present as well. We had just the right number of beers and thankfully only one round of Tequila, so there are no embarrassing stories to tell. However, we did get to try a new drink imported from the southern California coast, 7up and mandarin vodka. I hope next summer at number 10 will be different and there will be plenty of videos getting posted to youtube. Fair warning to all those in attendance next summer.
I can’t wait to go hunting again not only to see one of these beautiful birds up close but also to enjoy their most savory flesh. This bird was farm raised so it had just the right amount of game flavor. Here is the recipe, we highly recommend it. Click any of the ingredients to be taken to the full recipe on Emeril LaGasse’s (of the food network) website. Truly delicious.
