9/21/08 – North Riverside has a day every year in the early fall that they put on an awesome fireworks show. We are not sure what we are celebrating, but this year we were celebrating the retreat of the Des Plaines River. The fireworks were again impressive. We got the added excitement of burning embers falling down around us. Photos below.
