]]> http://www.akpace.com/cubs-game-and-chicago-art-institue/feed 0 4 Week Old Puppies http://www.akpace.com/4-week-old-puppies-2 http://www.akpace.com/4-week-old-puppies-2#comments Mon, 10 May 2010 03:05:10 +0000 akpace http://www.akpace.com/?p=1790 The Nadia Nitro puppies are 4 weeks old.  They had a big week.  They ate real food (blended dog food and water) for the first time, had visitors, nibbled on some feathers, and went outside.  Wow!  Now they are sleeping very well.  We have the double whelping box set up now in the kitchen so they can get used to all the noises of a home.  Nadia is very happy to be finishing up her feeding responsibilities.  She is ready to have them fully weaned already.  Thanks to all the visitors, it helps the puppies greatly to get socialized.  64 photos this time so be prepared.  Also a 3 and 4 week old video.

]]> http://www.akpace.com/registration-info/feed 0 Record Snowfall http://www.akpace.com/record-snowfall http://www.akpace.com/record-snowfall#comments Thu, 11 Feb 2010 03:03:38 +0000 akpace http://www.akpace.com/?p=1625 We got a record amount of snow in the Chicago area.  12.9 inches.  It was really fun and even shoveling it wasn’t too bad.  Here is a photo of Ashlee’s car just about buried.  Another little known fact is that there was a 4.2 magnitude earthquake too.  Maybe the weight of all the snow triggered it.  The dogs and Hannah are loving the snow, but it is too deep for everyone except Cinder.

Some of the posts are only going to be visible to friends and family. In order to view them you will have to log in. The login area will be on the top left corner. I went ahead and created users for everyone who is subscribed to the blog right now. You will get emailed a password and can login and change it at that point. Once you login there will be a link that says profile in the login area. If you click that you will be taken to a screen where you can change your password. Don’t forget to click update settings at the bottom.

For those of you who read this but do not have accounts you will be able to see some stuff, but I am going to be blocking out lots of the posts for people who are not logged in. It is easy to register so please do it and log in. The page will look the same, but certain posts visibility will change depending on your login status, so check to make sure you are logged in.

You will have to be logged in to see most of the posts from now on.
