Registration and Privacy Change
Written by akpace on Friday, January 29, 2010 01:04
There is a slight change happening at the pacers. Some of the posts are only going to be visible to friends and family. In order to view them you will have to log in. The login area will be on the top left corner. I went ahead and created users for everyone who is subscribed to the blog right now. You will get emailed a password and can login and change it at that point. Once you login there will be a link that says profile in the login area. If you click that you will be taken to a screen where you can change your password. Don’t forget to click update settings at the bottom.
For those of you who read this but do not have accounts you will be able to see some stuff, but I am going to be blocking out lots of the posts for people who are not logged in. It is easy to register so please do it and log in. The page will look the same, but certain posts visibility will change depending on your login status, so check to make sure you are logged in.
You will have to be logged in to see most of the posts from now on.

Record Snowfall
Written by akpace on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 10:03
We got a record amount of snow in the Chicago area. 12.9 inches. It was really fun and even shoveling it wasn’t too bad. Here is a photo of Ashlee’s car just about buried. Another little known fact is that there was a 4.2 magnitude earthquake too. Maybe the weight of all the snow triggered it. The dogs and Hannah are loving the snow, but it is too deep for everyone except Cinder.
Lobster Dinner

We went to a restaurant in Oak Park called Poor Phil’s. It is normally delicious with a great beer selection and some really good specials. There current special is a Maine lobster for $9.99. Not only was it cheap, it was delicious as well. I hope this one lasts for awhile. We went with Michelle and Michael to celebrate a successful tie between Nadia and Nitro. Enjoy the fun video and for you locals, check it out.

Reservations
Written by ashden18 on Thursday, February 4, 2010 05:44
So…I just called to make dinner reservations for Friday night and told the host that it was for 5 adults and 2 high chairs. He responded in an odd voice, “Five adults and two high schoolers????”
My mom is dying. Having raised a boy she thinks this is beyond funny. She is picturing us warning him about these two monsterous high schoolers that are going to clean them out. I can’t imagine what was going through his mind.
Family Portrait

This is our first family portrait to include Mara. It turned out really nice. It reminds me of the Garth Brooks song “Two of a Kind Working on a Full House.” Enjoy the music and the next time you hear it, we really will be.
